The Tip-Off Adapter consists of an internal glass thread with a mating Nylon bushing fitted with a stainless steel heat shield.
The shank of the adapter (½” OD x 4” long) is secured to the vacuum manifold.
Sample tubes are held in place by an extra thick FETFE o-ring compressed by the threaded bushing, finger tight.
Tested to 10-7 Torr.
